Our unique approach to learning through various mentoring activities allows us to build positive relationships with students in an informal ‘family-like’ environment. The focus of the mentoring is behavioural change and relationship building, as well as developing life skills within a caring and supportive environment.

Staff from a variety of youth support, health and counseling services visit the school regularly to assist students who require additional support through mentoring activities.

Students are afforded the opportunity to participate in cultural activities such as traditional and contemporary dance and sewing facilitated by Indigenous Elders. These activities assist students who identify as Indigenous in understanding their heritage as well as developing valuable life skills and a strong sense of identity.
