How we’re different
Our aim is to remove the barriers to education and to nurture the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional and ethical development of young women.
Our governing body
Carinity Education – Southside is one of two schools operated by Carinity. Our brother school in Hervey Bay, Carinity Education – Glendyne, is based on a similar education model and is co-educational.
Guidelines that we follow here at Carinity Education - Southside.
In 1997, Carinity Education – Southside started operating as a small school to educate young women from troubled circumstances and became an approved school three years later.
At Carinity Education – Southside, we have a dedicated and passionate team of teachers, youth workers, administration staff and volunteers as well as a counsellor and an Indigenous relations chaplain.
Our vision & mission
Driven by our Christian values, we provide high quality care and services, making a real difference to people in need.
